The Venue

Hood River’s year-round event venue, The Ruins, has quickly become one of its premier year-round spaces, bustling with music and events every week. A century-old former fruit cannery built inside actual ruins has become the city’s go-to spot for live shows, speakeasies, trivia nights, weddings, and so much more – Oregon Bride magazine even called it “the best urban space outside Portland,” which will undoubtedly impress your guests with its magnetic charm!

Zac and Lauren held their wedding at this idyllic venue that offers the perfect blend of rustic, industrial, and organic charms. In an outdoor ceremony surrounded by nature’s beauty, they sealed their vows before enjoying an exquisite dinner prepared by Boda’s Kitchen, followed by electrifying music provided by the Blue Wave Band at the reception – finishing their unforgettable night off perfectly with a delicious dessert from Mobile Scoop Shop!

This venue is also an oasis for music enthusiasts, featuring weekly Tuesday and Thursday shows with affordable early-access tickets and talented musicians. Additionally, they partner with local nonprofit organizations to support their concert series; last year, a portion of ticket sales was donated to Next Door, Helping Hands, and Camp Starlight as part of their concert series, while this summer, they are working alongside Hood River/White Salmon High School booster clubs, Fish Food Bank, CultureSeed! and CultureSeed!
