Teams We Expect in the 2022/2023 English Premier League Next Season

0 77

We are looking forward to next season’s EPL competition, and we know it won’t disappoint. This season wrapped up in style, and it was all-around fun from start to finish. It is worthy of being up there in the various league seasons in the EPL. However, it was an extreme sport to watch, and no one could fully predict how it closed out at the start of the season.

It had everything from top-notch clutch moments to exciting showdowns. We also saw teams crumble under pressure and give way to ship in plenty of goals. It was everything we could expect from a top-flight season, and we could even compare it to playing a top casino game at the best online casino.

Every football weekend was filled with exciting matchups, and we can’t wait to get into the next season. We hope it to be a top-notch one with the best experience from start to finish, and we hope the three teams coming from the Championship know what they will face in the League and can give us an incredible fight.

It is never going to be easy for sure. However, it will be exciting for the fans. Therefore, we look at the teams that have sealed a spot in the top 20 teams of the Men’s professional division in England and the ones likely to make it in with one game.

If you’re not aware, we’ve helped you with the teams, and here you can find each of them and what they might bring to the League next season.

Fulham

Unsurprisingly, Fulham is the first team to lay claim to the qualification to the 2022/2023 EPL season, and it was in a grand style.

The team was dominant throughout the season, and like their counterpart last season, Norwich, everyone knew that there were all possibilities that we would see the West London club in no time.

Fulham had one of the best seasons in the Championship, with their top player Alexander Mitrovic breaking the record of the most goals in a season. It was one of the most epic runs in a season, and we hope they would be able to bring that to the top flight.

We’ve seen them have dominating runs in the Championship but crumble when they reach the EPL.

It has happened multiple times, and we hope it is different now. We look forward to seeing the team bring their aggressive attacking style to the League once it starts in August.

Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth lost plenty of its players after relegation in the 2019/2020 season, and the team had to rebuild for another season.

Although they made it to the playoffs, they couldn’t pass the first round after being beaten by Brentford, who were the eventual teams to make it to the EPL for the 2022/2023 season.

As a result, the team has to face another season in the Championship, missing another top-flight season. However, they soon bounced back, and this time, they were able to climb up the ladder and secure the 2nd-place qualifying spot. In that case, they would be playing in the Premier League next season.

Huddersfield

In 2018/2019, Huddersfield was relegated to the Championship, and since then, they’ve been fighting to get back up, and it hasn’t been easy. The team also struggled in the Championship, and at some point, they were close to the relegation spot. So it wasn’t an easy feat for them because it’s been tough.

However, they are in the Championship playoff finals this season, and it is undoubtedly an incredible run for the team. They’ve crawled their way back up, and they have one more hurdle to go through if they will make it to the English Premier League next season.

As a result, we look forward to how the playoff goes to see if Huddersfield will be joining Bournemouth and Fulham in the top League.

Nottingham Forest

The last time we saw the red colors of Nottingham Forest was in the 1998/1999 season when they were relegated to the Championship. Even though they were a powerhouse in England during the 70s and 80s when they won back-to-back Champions League trophies, they fell off the perch and went down.

The team has been relegated to League One, and they’ve clawed their way back to the Championship to get the last spot in the 2022/2023 EPL season. It will be epic to see Forest back playing Premier League football.

We saw a similar emotional story with Brentford returning to the League after 72 years of being away. However, they still have Huddersfield to play in the playoff final.
