Realme C25 Review

31

Realme C25 is an entry-level smartphone that comes with a lot of features. This is one to consider if you’re looking for a phone under Rs 10,000.

It’s a well-made smartphone with good build quality. It also has a fingerprint scanner which is fast to respond to your touch.

Camera

The C25 packs a 48-megapixel sensor with an f/1.8 aperture at the back. The sensor works well in bright daylight and produces sharp, detailed images with sound color reproduction and saturation.

The camera also performs well in HDR mode, balancing exposure across the light spectrum. It has a dedicated Night Mode that improves low-light shots.

On the front, an 8-megapixel selfie shooter captures decent results. It is not as sharp as other smartphones in this price range but does an excellent job of capturing detail.

Bloatware is minimal and mainly comes in the form of some Realme applications like HeyFun (for access to fast casual games), Community (forums), Finshell Pay (which it refused to launch), and Realme Link (to connect with the company’s IoT products). The 6.5-inch HD+ display panel is bright and dynamic not just indoors but outdoors as well.

Performance

The Realme C25 is a budget phone that caters to those looking for basic features and durability for day-to-day activities. Its battery life is good, as is its camera performance.

It also features Android 11-based software, a nice upgrade from the previous version. Its Game Space app has exciting features, including a Game Focus mode that disables notifications, alerts, and incoming calls.

Lastly, the device is backed by a massive 6,000mAh battery that lasts longer than other phones in the same price range. The smartphone also passed the TUV Rheinland battery, drop, and wear-and-tear tests, making it an excellent choice for everyday use.

Its camera is a strong point, as it produces color-rich photos with a decent level of detail. AI scene detection does an excellent job of identifying scenes and optimizing them accordingly.

Battery

Realme has always prided itself on delivering excellent value for money, and the C25 is no different. The company’s first smartphone to get the TUV Rheinland Smartphone High-Reliability Certification, meaning it’s built to last for years.

For starters, the C25 has a massive 6000mAh battery. That’s a pretty large one for any budget smartphone, and it’s a welcome change from the previous generation C15.

Having a bigger battery means you can use the phone longer without charging it frequently. This makes it an excellent choice for gamers and people who spend much time watching movies or playing games on their phones.

Price

The Realme C25 is a decent budget phone that offers good value for money. It has a big battery, display, and processor that handles most tasks without any problems.

It also has decent connectivity options and a TUV Rheinland smartphone high-reliability certification. It has a triple camera setup and supports 18W fast charging.

The 6.5-inch HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) LCD panel has decent colors and is bright and clear indoors and outdoors. Unfortunately, it does not support WideVine L1 certification, meaning that most OTT content will only be available in SD resolution.
